- the well-known Futurama catchphrase "Good news, everyone!", usually used by Professor Farnsworth when he's going to announce a news which isn't really good actually,
- the usual confusion between "happy new year" and the literal translation "good year" of French "bonne année", and of course
- the Good Year tyre brand
